- Southern Fried Chicken? Ever had it in the actual south? not something I order in a restaurant usually but I'm guessing I would like it if I tried it.

- Publix Subs- Ever had one? Rate it Been to Publix but never had a sub there

- Know what a meat and 3 is, and ever been to a meat and 3 establishment? don't think so. If it's a meat and three sides, I'd pick brisket with jalapeno creamed corn from Jethro's, corn and mac and cheese.

- I'd love your hot takes on Southern BBQ. I love BBQ so assume I would like Southern BBQ too.

- A ss or tits (have to choose). I have tits so they get less exciting when I can play with them whenever I want. Guess that means I choose ***.
You’re always a good sport and funny. As for bbq and sides, jethro’s? Smokey Ds is where it’s at.

aw thanks!

I really, really like jalapeno creamed corn. That's probably the only thing at Jethro's that is better than Smokey D's. It's also closer to my house so we eat there more than making the drive to Smokey D's. My daughter is playing beach volleyball in Ankeny this summer so it will become on our way at least once a week. Can't wait!!

Call me crazy but Joe’s Stone crab has unbelievable fried chicken. Hell, there’s Bubba’s Southern in downtown Des Moines with unbelievable fried chicken and strips. Best chicken in DM.

Hit Whatcha Smokin in Luther or Cornbread in Ames. Great meats and sides, including jala cream corn.

I live in ankeny and had no idea that was a thing, but I seem to remember something like that down by the game ready training bubble. Is that where it’s at or is it in prairie ridge sports complex?

My wife and I spend the winter on Marco Island, Florida.

The Collier House is a southern style restaurant. It used to be Marek's but was remodeled. www.thecollierhouse.com

Southern style fried chicken. Shrimp and grits.

Also unique, they have a Banana Bread Old-Fashioned ( Rye).

Subs at Publix on South Barfield are good.

Meat and 3 in Nashville.
Try Cracklin’ Jacks sometime - excellent souther food.

Except iced tea is often served with a slice of lemon ... you know, the main ingredient in lemonade ... because it's a complimentary flavor.

Compare to coffee + orange ... which no sane person likes.
Lemon juice is sour. Lemonade adds sugar. The point is sweet added to tea is foul tasting, whether it is pure sugar or sugar-laden lemonade. This is not difficult stuff. As for OJ and coffee, the point was to provide examples of two liquids which taste good on their own, but not combined. Also not difficult stuff.

(Almost) No one agrees (see below). Sweet iced tea is delicious. Extremely popular. And served with lemon for added complimentary taste - even better. Ergo, an Arnie Palmie is de facto delicious. It’s science (it actually is, though I didn’t intend the comment that way).

OJ and coffee would taste horrible together. Your taste buds are wrong.

Next you’ll claim Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are gross because who wants milk in their chocolate … and it’s comparable to ketchup mixed with mint chocolate chip ice cream.

You know who else didn’t like Arnie Palmie’s? Hitler. Pol Pot. John Wayne Gacy. Hannibal Lechter. Thanos. That’s it. That’s the list. And you.

What are your thoughts on:

- Southern Fried Chicken? Ever had it in the actual south?
I live in the actual south so this question does not apply.
- Publix Subs- Ever had one? Rate it
Yes. Inferior to Jersey Mike's but far superior to Subway.
- Know what a meat and 3 is, and ever been to a meat and 3 establishment?
Yes and yes. Hearing that K&W was closing its last locations in December of last year plucked the nostalgia string.

- I'd love your hot takes on Southern BBQ
Eastern NC style BBQ is God's own.

- A ss or tits (have to choose)
A.ss...and the legs attached.

Just an FYI, ketchup is a touchy subject with our lot.

You don't like peach iced-tea either? That's my favorite.

Those other guys were jerks, but Thanos was right.
