Just make the faculty section maroon.
Wearing white against UT last year was so dumb. It looked like a orange and white checkerboard in the stadium 
The only thing I really mind on here is the stripe out.
Some people like to be told which color to wear. That’s fine. I’m long past caring if someone wears maroon to a white out or white to a maroon game, but at least this encourages people to wear school colors.

I'm not a big follower. Most of my MSU stuff is maroon. You can give me a shirt if you want me to wear a specific color.

In the NBA you can tell the teams with strong established histories - Lakers, Celtics, Knicks - from the teams with newer, weaker fanbases by whether the team puts T-shirts in their seats for playoff games. Teams with established histories don't give out T-shirts, the others do. Same concept applies here.

I would appreciate it if the faculty section was maroon or white and not the predominant color of who we were playing that weekend.
I tend to agree that color coordinating every home game is a little much. The problem is when we have that 1 game a year, a certain segment of the fanbase will call it stupid as well. They will then turn around and comment on how good a white out game at Penn State looks.

When I was in school, seems like everyone wore anything but Maroon to the games. The Greeks were dressed in formal wear, of course, but everyone else just wore the fashion of the day, or maybe camo.
And we LIKED it!!
I proudly carry on that tradition, although now I wear clothes that are comfortable in the weather. Can't wait to wear a nice Fall plaid to the OU game**

Doing a "stripe out" for the game that will easily attract the most visiting fan is beyond moronic. Who came up with this crap????
