It was because it included $1 million a year in perpetuity to be ambassador for a program. That is a lifetime contract. You think a 10 year contract is a lifetime contract?

Did I find your sock account? Someone posted a 247 ranking of portal players and I asked AI AND cited to Google AI and presented what it said about three playersGood point, but didn’t you just post google AI yesterday and got pissy when mocked? LLM’s scan those same sources.
anybody remember “Google scholar” searches? They actually tried to ferret out primary vs secondary sources? I wish we could move back to those times.
It's been pretty well known that there was money available for stokes that was not available for anyone else and it was via nike. Did you not follow this recruitment at all? I was able to enact the aid of google for the below information
Tyran Stokes, the top-ranked 2026 basketball recruit, has been heavily pursued with NIL packages in the $6M–$7M+ range, often cited to include roughly $4 million from Kentucky and an additional $2 million through a multi-year Nike deal. While Kentucky initially used this high-money Nike-backed offer, reports indicate intense competition, particularly with Kansas, with some sources in April 2026 indicating the recruitment remains a, "nail-biter". [1, 2, 3]
- Kentucky's Offer: Reported at $6–$7+ million, structured as a combination of program NIL and a major Nike deal.
- Nike Connection: As a Nike-sponsored school, Kentucky has been able to leverage a $2 million Nike deal for Stokes, who has signed a multi-year agreement with the brand.
- Competing Bids: Kansas has matched or come close to these, with some reports in early April suggesting a $6 million package from the Jayhawks.
Settle down dude. My point was language learning models, such as Google ai, uses the same sources to compile what some would call slop.Did I find your sock account? Someone posted a 247 ranking of portal players and I asked AI AND cited to Google AI and presented what it said about three players
How does that offend you, counselor?
This is different. The poster (you?) presented what he said were facts and then linked to social media posts as sources. Didn’t you say you were an attorney? LOL. One is an AI opinion to offset a 247 opinion and the other is presented as fact. You should know the difference.
You still don’t seem to understand the difference between opinion and fact. Probably also why you had questions about defamation.Derp
Sorry, responded before you edited your post. What is aggressive (aggro??)? You laughing at the post and a day or so later referencing back to call me out? Is that aggro or passo aggro?Derp. The other poster presenting it as fact was wack. Point taken but damn you’re aggro
Gotcha. How many defamation actions have you litigated?I don’t have the time or the crayons to explain how wrong you were about defamation being easy cases lol
No. I just googled it. I googled what I already knew as well as most people on here. I could have also cited KSR but I know that triggers everyone hereWow. You just linked to FB and Instagram accounts to evince your claim.![]()
I hated to trigger everyone with his name, but MJ reported it multiple times on his show. There's that.lol! Your sources are FB, Insta & another doomer UK board post…get out of here…fake news!
There is no credible reporting that Nike offered $2M, nor that Kentucky’s package was $6–7M with a $2M Nike component.
What is true: Stokes has a Nike NIL deal, and reports mention a $6M NIL valuation, but none of the sources say Nike contributed $2M or that UK offered $4M.
Nice try! This is all doomer talk against Pope!
They expected an actual two-way relationship beneficial to both sides. Not this bush league sh*tMaybe Nike should think about ditching UK??
How exactly is nike not representing KY? Don't say because stokes because it's not actually Nike's job to recruit for KY. That falls on the coaches. Kentucky basketball is one of Nike's flagship brands. They make special uniforms and shoes for Ky pretty regularly.Nike hasn’t done anything to help UK. Maybe we should switch to adidas or one of the other shoe brands if they will feature us.
I said we have a 10 year deal with Nike, he called that a lifetime contract. That is not a lifetime contract, some people have problems telling the truth. It was because it included $1 million a year in perpetuity to be ambassador for a program. That is a lifetime contract.
