trump has ruined the American economy with his egomaniac persona and
with his illegal tariffs and his illegal war against Iran.
ruined the American economy might be just a slight exaggeration....at least if corporate earnings, employment rates are any indication of the economy.

Now if you think prices have increased during trump years, that housing hasn't seen any comeback, that affordability hasn't improved that tariffs have hurt...then you have a valid point.

do you agree with trump that our economy was dead before he took office, and now it's the hottest economy in the world? The best economy we've ever had?

no on either...but I don't put much stock in trump hyperbole. (but to be honest, I don't know how economies are in the rest of the world. For all I know, he might be wrong, or right)

I just surprised that people are somewhat AC/DC on trump statements. Believe some and not believe others...I think you have to take everything he (and other politicians say) with a grain of salt.

There was just a hearing in DC yesterday about Fairfax county prosecutor. During that hearing when questioned, the prosecutor made some kind of statement about how "obtuse" someone would have to be to believe that what he said during the campaign would actually be his policy...just for example...who votes for a US representative candidate to promises to bring down grocery prices? Person has 1/435 vote capability to do what they promise.
