Anyone here on SPS have Saints season tickets?
Trying to decide if I should pull the trigger this year knowing I won’t make more than 2-3 games as usual and not sure if I could make my $$ back by selling the other games.
I don’t see the Saints doing much better this year to drive up demand and pricing.

Take it from my experience, you cannot. I had season tickets in the gridiron club right as Brees was on the way out. Before he retired, you could go to 5, sell 3 and still break even or make money. Since retirement, I had season where I went to 4, 3 and 2 games. Even the season I went to two games (two years ago), i lost a couple thousand bucks.

This is compounded by the fact that the home schedule this year only has the Steelers on it as a fanbase that generally buys tickets at elevated prices. And I would want to go to that game anyway....

Just buy great tickets to the games you want and you're saving money.

the Steelers game is in Paris so not going to get to buy those as part of the package.

Saints have been texting me almost daily with package options. I’m an hour away from the dome but typically go to 1 game or less per year. Season tickets sound like a great idea on paper but the reality is you won’t go to every game. It’s a grind even if you live in New Orleans.

I completely forgot about that. I just looked quickly at the schedule for home opponents. The saints are obviously the host in that game
Still would be fun to go too….

We get season tickets every year. Never have we made all games or even close. for that matter. But we entertain clients or sell those tickets we dont attend. It’s not a break-even for us or even close honestly, but we will order up every year as long as I can. We’re 3 hours out of Nola so we usually try to stay couple of nights but it’s also close enough that you van make a day trip if absolutely necessary.

Don’t factor in being able to sell them, lots on the secondary market under face value

Gave mine up before last season as secondary market tickets were consistently cheaper than face value. The fact that ticket reps reach out daily trying to sell unused inventory would indicate the demand is still lacking.
I sure hope they turn it around though on the field and make me regret it

I was on the waiting list years ago and get so many messages now. I'm an hour away too and can make a last minute decision easily. My FILs company has a box and how things have gone lately I can almost get tickets from them any time I want. Hopefully things are changing we can get back to competing. It's the most hope I've had post-breesus.

I’m not even a Saints fan but I still enjoy going. Go Birds! 1 game a year is about all I’m good for.
