And if you've ever complain about the Huskers (which would be perfectly normal), then you're in the same boat as those who complain about the CFP and still watch it.I watch every Husker game.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but who would take their spot? 2 loss Miami or BYU? 3 loss Alabama, South Carolina or Ole Miss?I'm not even sure why tenn was in the playoff
If they beat Michigan even with another loss to Oregon probably would not have been 8 seed .Exactly. Had ohio state beat michigan, oregon would have had to beat ohio state three times possibly to win the natty. Absolutely stupid.
thats why I'm waiting for systematic math to hit college football, so nobody has to question who's in the playoff..the season determines who's in the playoff by wins and loses...not polls....I'm not disagreeing with you, but who would take their spot? 2 loss Miami or BYU? 3 loss Alabama, South Carolina or Ole Miss?
So the BCS? I'm not opposed.thats why I'm waiting for systematic math to hit college football, so nobody has to question who's in the playoff..the season determines who's in the playoff by wins and loses...not polls....
Ok?If they beat Michigan even with another loss to Oregon probably would not have been 8 seed .
I don't complain about the Huskers have too many games. I don't complain about them having a better chance to make the playoffs. And if you've ever complain about the Huskers (which would be perfectly normal), then you're in the same boat as those who complain about the CFP and still watch it.
Oh, so it's not complaining in general? It depends what the complaint is.I don't complain about the Huskers have too many games. I don't complain about them having a better chance to make the playoffs.
I think so?Oh, so it's not complaining in general? It depends what the complaint is.
Last year, there were too few. Florida State and Georgia were both deserving.NO! There’s too many teams in it already.
SEC is the lone holdout
If the CFP goes beyond 16 teams, then that automatically opens up the broadcast for new media bids. Otherwise, it remains a Disney exclusive broadcast.
The SEC has been told what their stance is.
Maybe...but we will all watch it and most of us will wager on it...24 teams is nothing but watered down CFP.
ND and BYU could make a case from last year the rest is nothing but DEI.
I mean...the bowl games were the "participation trophy" the playoffs are competition. It's a pathetic money grab and a "hey, let's make sure everyone gets their participation trophy" - nothing more.
Of course but that’s besides the point.Maybe...but we will all watch it and most of us will wager on it...
Agree … though I would watch every game as would most college football fans.16 makes sense, would make for a more fun product even.
24 is very eh to me.
I would too, but I already watch almost every bowl game (as time allows) and most FCS playoff games.Agree … though I would watch every game as would most college football fans.
More Crying.Who cares how many teams are in the playoff? They could expand it to 24 teams and we still would miss it.
But hey, we always have the Pinstripe bowl to look forward to (if we are lucky)
You’re a Clarkeye fan you tell us..I would too, but I already watch almost every bowl game (as time allows) and most FCS playoff games.
If you think Iowa fans are annoying now though, they would be doubly annoying if they were able to pout their chest over playoff appearances, which they surely would if it was expanded to 24.
Says the overweight cockksuckerYou’re a Clarkeye fan you tell us..
Nope haven't seen or bet on a playoff game since the expansion.Maybe...but we will all watch it and most of us will wager on it...
Yeah...I have some friends that are married too.Nope haven't seen or bet on a playoff game since the expansion.
I haven't legally watched a playoff game since the expansion, I don't have ESPN and I refused to pay for it,Nope haven't seen or bet on a playoff game since the expansion.
Love this! Getting free TV is classic!I haven't legally watched a playoff game since the expansion, I don't have ESPN and I refused to pay for it,![]()
That's nice for you! Doesn't matter that i legit haven't watched it. Season is over I watch a few bowl games and then just read the results of the playoff. They don't interest me.Yeah...I have some friends that are married too.
Kind of a lot of thought for someone who doesn't care/watch the playoffs! HaIf we are going to 24 then we need to just include seats for teams who won their conferences to begin with. 10 Free spots to everyone who won their conference. 4 extra free seats for the team that came in second at the P4 level. Then 10 at large bids for the rest.
Some might be very angry at the G5 schools getting in. But honestly they have the same likelihood of winning it as does most of the at large bids. 24 means we are going full college basketball. Oh and ND can only get in from an at large no guarantee for them.
