You can't name a group of people that leach left that were NFL players or 1st team all sec or even second team all sec.

Name them. We know you won't b/c you can't. Even if they transferred you can include them.

WE ARE WAITING!!
Arnett ran off some solid young talent after he got the job and made the genius call to change the offense.

Lenny ran off a lot more after 2023. Huge mistake. Lot of typical MSU players that are developed over time, ran off because they didn't start as 1st or 2nd year players. That set the stage.

He did it again after 2024, now he's done it again in 2025.

All of that equals depth erosion. Doesn't matter if they were your self proclaimed criteria of NFL or All-SEC. At MSU we need depth across the board with no holes.

His question is based on a bad premise. As I said, his self-defined criteria is not the measuring stick.
Its not a bad premise.

Its a simple premise if you are right, but you arent right so you can't asnwer it.

If the talent existed when leach died. Name it. Name the people who would have been NFL, 1st team all sec or 2nd team all sec.

You’re a GD idiot, so only if they are nfl players or first team sec are they considered “solid talent”. Well judging by that criteria 99% of every player in the history of this program is not a solid contributor. How many first team sec players and nfl players have played in the history of Miss State ? Not even enough to field a team.

Lmao, no player is a worthy contributor unless they are nfl players or all sec. you could fit that team in a phone booth if you included the last 100 years moron

You don't need that caliber of player to do better than 1-15 in the SEC.

I mean you can look at the 247/on3 portal exits. It's not difficult to find out who recruited the Kelley Jones, Sawyer Robertsons, Albert Reeses of the world.
So name them.

And take Sawyer Robertson out b/c QB hasn't been our issue at all. And Sawyer probably would have gotten killed just as bad as Shapen had he stayed here.

I'll give you Kelley Jones. I'll give you albert Reese.

So we got one really good corner and one above average Olineman. I'm sure mullen could have killed it with that.

You can label me the usual crowd but he’s got to win 6 this year

if he does yall should STFU

not bc 6 is great but bc he was handed a $h1t sandwich and shown consistent improvement
So a 1-win improvement over the schitshow that was last year is good enough for you?

We know. You made a stupid argument and you're trying to double down with an impossible ask.

Look, when you agree with @L4Dawg, you might need to start asking some introspective questions.

I'll let you search those transfer portal lists yourself.
Impossible? If it’s impossible it’s bc we didn’t have the talent.

List 15 players that could have started in the top half of the SEC.

if you can’t do that, it’s bc of leach.

I'm not a boomer, but I hate when people use that in a derogatory way. My Dad was a boomer and a smart guy I learned a lot from. I have a bunch of relatives, friends and clients that are boomers. They are the greatest generation the US has had. Let's think of something else to call them, like old sacks of **** or wrinkles on a ball sack. Boomer is getting old.

As much as I respected him, Leach was 100% one dimensional.
It’s not about what you do, it’s about what you can possibly do, and what the defense thinks you can do. And Leach could do both. Obviously he leaned pass - and that set up the run. And his runs were effective.

That’s 2 dimensional.

He said 50% run, 50% pass is 50% stupid As far as being a balanced attack. His concepts were attacking space on the field And getting the ball into multiple players hands. Some games he would run it a lot if the defensive front was weak, with Baron Batch at Tech or Max Borghi at WSU, or two back sets against ole Miss in the egg bowl.

he took Emory Bellards offense and applied it to passing, a gift to underdog teams every where as it is a great equalizer, and one of the reasons he’s in the HOF.

Our fans will never ‘get’ it.

Once we fire Lenny we will repeat the same mistakes and we will do it all over again.

Leach would have eventually won over most of the fans, just like he did every where else, but there is a subset of really dumb, really toxic fans that never would catch on.
I’ve never been a Leach fan. But damn if I don’t wish he was still alive & still our coach after seeing the shitshow the last 3 years have been. And may as well include this season too even before it’s started.

Dude's been dead for 3 1/2 years and we're still debating whether he was a good coach or not. You'd think after watching Croom, Moorhead, Arnett and Lebby struggle, you'd could say that the data is there to show he was successful at State and given his track record at TT and Wazoo, he would've continued to be successful. I don't think he would've ever won the SEC, but with a good QB and WRs his team would be good enough to go the CFP, had he not passed away.

His 2018 WSU team was a playoff team 11-2 and ranked tenth. Would have been 12-1 if not for a blizzard that grounded his offense Against UW. That’s actually a tougher feat than winning in Starkville.

We were ranked 22 in the final CFP polls in 2022 so yeah, fairly certain he'd have made the 12-teamer at some point.

Finished 13th in 2018 at Washington State. And obviously 7th in 2008 in the BCS. Not to mention how many other times they would have been at least in contention, down the stretch.
