I'd suggest that y'all watch more than a highlight reel of N'Diaye.

The reason his shooting % is so low is because his shot selection is really terrible. His athleticism allows for unguarded transition and rebound dunks, but in the halfcourt he is a 6'11" three point chucker.

McBride is a million times more intuitive and disciplined.

False. Pitino inherited a FAR more challenging roster situation when he took over our probation-ravaged program in 1989. Because of several MAJOR differences: he did not have the transfer portal to fish from, he did not have NIL money to work with, and he could not recruit international pros. Plus he was dealing with crippling sanctions.

Nowadays a power program with money can easily buy a competitive roster in just one off season. That was absolutely NOT the case back then. Pitino had to do it the old fashioned way, which meant his first season pretty much all he had were the few unwanted leftovers from our 13-19 team the season before.

I’m not going to say that I don’t get a little hot n bothered by UK basketball. I grew up watching with my Uncle Rubel, he’d always tell me it’s better without the teeth in. He’d always think it was funny to say! I never understood how takin his teeth out made basketball easier! Until I got older!

Uncle went to prison but he was my first with Kentucky basketball!
