There are no fans who think Rhule has done better than Bo. Plenty of fans don’t like Bo, but I’ve never seen or heard one say that MR is doing more. Quit making sh$t up.
There are plenty of fans who think Rhule is better than Bo because there are plenty of fans that just want a nice coach that loves living in Nebraska. Clearly you are one of them.

No there are not. There are people people who like Rhule better and hope/think Rhule will be as successful or more than Bo. But nobody actually thinks he is. At least not at Nebraska so far. Most fans, me included, want a coach who can win AND isn't a huge piece of sh*t personality.

Dude, I like you, but your Bo boner is very weird. Bo had some issues. Fans wanted better. Rhule has some issues. Fans are starting to want better. They just happen to be different issues. But fans still want better.

Obviously no obsession on his part … perfectly normal to hang on another team’s board.
Right?

I mean, I got confused there for a moment. Which is why I asked if he was an iowa fan.

So...

He is an iowa fan
He loves a coach that has never won anything at all and has the most losses ever.
He spends all day posting on a Husker site.

Man, imagine being so ashamed to admit that you are in iowa fan that you literally won't even admit to it on a post board.

The fans that are scared of Bo are still finding new amazing ways to convince themselves that Rhule has done a better job than Bo did.
I'm not sure how. I'm not near as down on Rhule as some are but compared to what bo did it was horseshit. I'm still trying to see who is convincing themselves of that??? Any names....

Anyone that wanted Bo fired...but doesn't want Rhule fired is one of those guys. In my mind.
That's definitely fair and I agree..Hell we had some that didn't think Frost should be fired but want Rhule gone also.

I've Kinda learned to never be surprised on these boards. We've had people adamant that H Harberg was the best QB we had. Some saying Dayton Raiola got a scholarship from Nebraksa based on his own merits lol. That he was actually the best QB they could get that year lol. Just all kinds of crazy ****.

So When I say NOTHING surprises me I mean nothing. The hill that some people choose to die on regarding Husker football is truly amazing.

I want to see us get in the playoff.. I know, it's silly, but I think we have a chance this year if things go well. It doesn't mean Matt Rhule gets a ton of credit, it just means we finally got serious about the OL and it's going to show up this year.

That whole Raiola thing was a big stain.. Matt was doomed no matter what he did, but glad he tossed them both out. He gets credit for both sides of that, good and bad.

I still think we need someone with a long term vision driving the program and someone who makes better decisions.

For the fans to have really loved DR...he would have had to guided NU to the playoffs, at least.

Sadly, Rhule will never coach a playoff team at any level.

I think he can be successful in spite of himself this year, but DR was toxic from the get go, and it was Rhule's poor decision to #1 keep the OL coach as well as #2 bring in this thrower when we were going to be a running team. That's how I see it. He needed to be more disciplined, and maybe he's learned from that? I think he makes lots of bad decisions though.

From what I am told, about half of Iowa, give or take, has indoor plumbing of some sort. And most sod homes now have vinyl siding. But the usual Iowa traditions of butter churning, apple bobbing, wooden shoe dancing, and polka music are still alive and well. Iowa state is still king of the football world there. A friend of mine from Hospers is moving to Omaha, is fed up with dial up internet and says many areas are a food desert. He teaches school there and thinks there is an issue, at least in that area, with the gene pool or the whole first cousins pro creating, since about 1/3 of his kids are special ed students. For a single teacher he says there is little to do and all the gals are fat and have facial hair. IDK but I can see why the Iowa tards/trolls are so insufferable.

It would be nearly impossible to re-create the string of bad decisions and bad luck that has Nebraska where it's at today. The latest was the Raiola family debacle. He's a good QB but not a good fit and the dynamic was really bad. No untested freshman QB should wield that much power over a coach/program. I don't know if success is on tap for this season, but I'm at least interested to see what it looks like with an experienced no-name QB and a proven OL coach.

I don't know how to bookmark a post or flag it or whatever, but this will either be the most brilliant or dumbest thing ever posted on the internet.

I'm seriously optimistic.. this kid at QB is going to want to prove himself to be in that top QB field.. I think he is going to save Nebraska Football esp with the new offensive line. Yep I said it.. I own it.. they are my delusions. GBR
