4-run lead, 6 outs to get, and you walk the first two guys of the 8th. Not the way to get more innings or be trusted in the postseason, even after getting a couple of massive strikeouts last inning.

If this was in February or March, I wouldn’t think twice about it. Knowing the postseason starts in less than two weeks doesn’t make me feel great.

I was just going to post something similar. They need to get this out of their systems tonight. Heading into the postseason these guys will be just as important as the starters if they want to accomplish their goals. No pressure, but they are going to have to be on their game. lol
They haven’t pitched in a game in 2 weeks. Now the last outing wasn’t great either but it also had been a while before that.
I know we are feeling out our depth but these weekday games can be a bit to stomach sometimes

Grace, we seem to walk a lot of hitters, what troubles me is that we pitch from behind so often. Putting so many on base by BBs can surely come back & get you! Dizzy Dean often said, “Oh, them base on balls!”
