You were "simply responding" in exactly the manner about which you were complaining. That is much more OT than NT of you. If you typically value my posts, then I would encourage you to set aside your defensiveness in this thread and actually seriously consider what I am telling you.
I don't agree with many of your opinions (you're "extremely liberal", as you've described yourself and I'm wayyy more moderate) and you've stated you prefer I was permanently banned from the boards but I still enjoy reading your posts, even if we have vastly different beliefs and opinions about most things.

Do you not value being polite? Do you not believe that people should be treated with dignity? Nothing that we are discussing in this thread has anything to do with being liberal, moderate, or conservative. It has to do with basic human decency.
I try to be polite...we may have different opinions on what is and what is not polite as we do on most things.

You're absolutely right I used to argue vehemently with posters at times...I stopped doing that around 2022 although I still enjoy a good back and forth.

In SC, full weed isn't legal, but the THC products that the 2018 Farm Bill opened loopholes for are legal.
Iowa is no-go because our 3 DUI drunkass governor is "protecting" us from ourselves.
Fortunately, I live about 3 miles from a very good Illinois dispensary across the Mississippi River from my town of Davenport. The cops here have effectively given up on doing anything about small amount possession or public consumption. Which is nice.

Delta 9 is legal for the time being in Iowa. But our dumbass governor passed a bill 2 years ago that put pretty strict limits on it though. No drink can have more than 5 grams per 16 oz. All gummies, chocolates, etc can only contain 10g max per pack.
Before she passed that, Delta 9 and Delta 8 were both legal, and you could buy products with some pretty large amounts of it in it. Things were nice before she realized it was going to put a large dent into the Iowa alcohol industry.

Medical marijuana basically. They changed the constitution to make it a 60% minimum “yea” vote, and it ended up around ~56%.
