I am a free thinking human being with intelligence and empathy. I work with human beings on regular basis. College football recruits are talented human beings with huge potential in their field. I root for Nebraska to be a place of excellence and competence and when a talented recruit comes to Nebraska and they are not trained, coached, educated, promoted or prepared it hurts the recruit, their family, but also the football program and the university.

Can you imagine what it would look like if the #1 qb in the nation went to Iowa, barely won 6 games, had his body broken because his uncle coached the offensive line, and then said qb gave up millions to transfer to be a backup at a top 10 school? The moral reality is gross but the optics are damaging because he was a high profile recruit who is perceived to sacrifice winning to help his dad's alma mater. The reality is top recruits only come to Nebraska to be overpaid, they have been duped and lied to, promised a starting position, or haven't done any research whatsoever and just go off of vibes. None of the above are good, nor will it lead to winning.
Trae doesn’t have to play behind Uncle Donny’s porous line. Geep is probably the best AC on staff. It’s a new situation, and if Trae is actually half as excited as he’s seems to be to have a future in Lincoln, I’d say that’s a win-win for all. If Rhule gets canned and Trae bails, more power to him.

Nah I have read a few of the other posters crap. It is mainly incoherent ramblings that make zero sense. Almost comical to a point. Big Blo telling someone to swallow a gun no matter who they are make him by far the biggest pos.
Funny…because you called me a “child rapist” in a now deleted thread awhile back.

0% chance he ever plays a down here. Before anyone mentions that he moved here, Raiola moved to GA then committed to us so 🤷🏻‍♂️
0%…wow that pretty low Man. 0%

Since he’s open to talk to any Coach that calls, that’s just where the game is today. Means if the Money is right somewhere else, he could be persuaded to decommit and sign somewhere else.

1). He has a passion for Nebraska. He wants to play in Lincoln and for Coach Rhule.

2). But, the season needs to go right and he needs to feel Coach Rhule will be in Lincoln during his Career here. If not, he’s open.

Just like each and everyone of us would be. It’s 100% we would all be open.

It sounds crazy but there is zero reason for a kid to be "excited" about Nebraska football unless--> he is a legacy, he is being promised the starting position, he is being tricked by Rhule, he is being paid WAY too much, his offer list is less impressive than reported, he is not able to grasp reality. Even, Dylan had to be promised a starting position AND overpaid AND have his uncle retained, AND Rhule was still possibly decent. But of course if he comes here, the team is good, and he balls out...great.

There has never been a season under Rhule when the starting QB job wasn’t promised well ahead of fall camp.

Greatest “no” Joe Burrow ever got. Dude had his entire future changed for the better with that rejection.
This is exactly my "empathy" for Trae. Talented kids shouldn't be ruined by my alma mater and favorite team, I would much prefer Nebraska recruited low level kids until we learned how to do things the right way and win with intelligence, hard work, scheme, fit, consistency instead of the chaos we have now. I guarantee we could build an all-toughness team of no-names that would be physical and fun to watch, that would be pissed when we lost and make us proud when they won and still win 5-6 and have 1 kid drafted in the late rounds.
