Can’t let this be a “trip up” game. Their starting pitcher is pretty good (doesn’t appear to be a weekend starter but does throw some inning on the weekend in relief).

UNCW has a big series with Campbell coming this weekend, so I don’t think they will do anything crazy out of the pen, but we are going to have to hit Thornton or he will give them length.

Hopefully, Jackson is up for the challenge and our “second tier” arms can keep the Seahawks at bay (expect Matty to get some work).

I agree with the radio being enjoyable. That is exactly how I consumed 75% of my UNC sports prior to the expansion of sports on TV.

I listen to a decent chunk of a lot of our games on the radio call on my phone. At least once a weekend when there are errands to do or things to do outside at the house. It's a good excuse to have the airpods in and ignore everybody else.

I concur! Growing up in Wilmington, I remember going to see the Heels play at UNCW as a 10 year old kid and got autographs from Walt Weiss and BJ Surhoff. Sure wish I still had those...

I checked tickets on SeatGeek yesterday and they were north of $250 each. Not sure how legit that was but I was shocked.

Strong start getting the first two on for UNC, Jake Schaffner with a short line drive to shallow right and Owen Hull working a walk. Now it's up to the UNC situational hitting to try to take an early lead

Winslow took a bat to the forearm against High Point a few weeks back. They called catcher’s interference on the play. He’s healing up but they’re just trying to avoid setbacks. Forbes covered all this in recent postgames; no inside info from me.

Winslow banged up against High Point and this has been good time to get him some extended rest and time off from behind the plate.
