Truth is, the SEC has been incredibly difficult the last 2 years and UK has battled injuries. Also, the unbalanced schedules make a difference. We had a tougher SEC schedule than most of the other teams.

But still, you're focusing on Pope's 2nd year and acting like that's what he did both years here. Why won't you put any focus on year 1? Look at the wins in year 1 with a hobbled pg, lost Robinson, lost Kriisa and Car was maybe 80%.

This isn’t the crappy SEC that Cal played in, where only 4 teams made the tournament.

A bad year at UK, is still an NIT season, not 2nd place in a conference like the SEC has been the last 2 years.

Year 1 was absolutely a success. Against a top 3 SOS, we got a 3 seed and a sweet 16. Yeah, there were some downs, but in year 1, with no roster so late in the year, that is absolutely a success.

What we just saw this year, was Pope at his worst. Without a PG, he still got a 7 seed and won a game, can you find any ither coach that, at his worst, still made the tournament and won a game?

Nah, you're not a UK fan. You’re a fan of winning titles and it’s obvioys you bacame a UK fan in 2012 and that's your standard.

You would do your mental health a huge favor by just picking a new favorite team every year. Find out who the best teams are and pick one. It’s the only way you're going to be happy.

It’s not just you, I’ve been attacked for saying this roster isn’t good enough to win the SEC and some of these guys are going crazy about it. That’s the common judgment by a lot of people with our roster at this point. I’m not sure why they can’t look at our roster and see that themselves.

Paul Calhoun tried to say that if Kam Williams would have stayed healthy, we had a chance to win the SEC last season. I don’t understand where some of these guys are coming from when they discuss the team. It makes no sense.

I'm so tired of hearing about injuries...
We got routed by Iowa State...when they were missing their actual best player. We had injuries to, let's be honest:

a guy who we recruited while he was injured, and who was barely a member of the team
a wing who was decent but definitely not a big needle mover (unless we were playing Bellarmine)
a PG who is far below the Kentucky standard and never made us any better when he was playing

Dude we beat whatever team that was with a Oweh miracle. This wasn't Pope at his worst. This was Pope at damn near his best. He never won a tournament game before UK.

They keep acting like I'm exaggerating or something. You can literally say what the season was and it sounds terrible. Of course I say that based off of the tradition I grew up knowing and a standard that I grew up knowing. We are Kentucky not Tennessee who hasn't been to a final four ever.

I dont expect a championship every year. I do expect to have a chance. I do expect to not get destroyed by Tennessee in the tournament. I do expect to not get destroyed by Iowa State in the tournament.....I expect to have a chance is all. Not to go 40-0 even tho our previous coach almost did that here. I want UK to have a season where they win big games and when they lose its a close one.

The big wins mean nothing to me when you turn around and get punked the next 3 out of five games.

It's not the loss to Iowa state that is being blamed in the injuries. You know this, but you're trying to add flavor to your message.

It’s the losses to uNC, Missouri, UGA, Alabama, Auburn etc…

This team doesn't have 14 losses at full strength. This is a fact and if Lowe and JQ don’t play in the SJ game, that's 15 losses.
