The young buck has earned his own name separate from his grayed Uncle Hickey.

As a frosh, he leapt the longest of any 9th grader in the nation at 23'8". Recent testing has him with a 38.2-inch vertical and a top speed of 22 MPH.

With his grades, he has offers from many major schools, including Vandy and Notre Dame.

He plays WR, DB, and Special Teams - I project him as a DB at the next level.

All.... Looks to be a good season Crusader with all that offense your team has coming back. QB, rb, and wo's.... I would think a high scoring team. Week three against the Lancers at home is going to be a big one. Ratsy

QB is now a Flyer ... but we have a big boy sophomore who is better suited for QB. Ellington played QB reluctantly - wanted to focus on DB. And he will get the chance to play big-time DB for the Flyers and somewhere P5. All love for him!

But yes, the O should be good again ... D too. Just have to find a way to five wins to get in. East has some big-time ballers too, but not a DT wrecking ball like the past years with Rulo graduating.

Saw some film on that rb Steven Brown. He's a gamer. Losing the qb will hurt but I still like you schedule for five or more. And with increasing postseason teams from to 256 to 384 it looks like 4 and 3 win teams even some with two will make the playoffs. We will see. Ratsy

Steven Brown, a Product of The Factory, AKA, Our Lady Queen of Peace, has been a gamer since before he could tie his shoes. He may not be a huge college prospect, but he is one hell of a high school athlete with a 4.2 GPA.

Heard Althoff lost a lot of returning players but that was a few months ago and Crusader would probably know for sure. Brown and Thompson aren't among the names though.

After shuffleboard, I have not been up at HQ to hear anything. Maybe a baseballer, but other than that, I do not know.

Long board or that stupid short bank board? Shuffleboad back in the day in Springfield was big with leagues at many "churches" in town. I did pretty well making the rounds for years. A free hander beating many of those rail shooting league players. Making those pucks curve and hide all over the board. No money games to speak of most of the time just for drinks.

One place I would not play in was a little dive bar on Converse street in the middle of a neighborhood on the north side. Went in one time and noticed several championship trophies. Talked with a couple of regulars and found out those were wins from the national tournament in Las Vegas. Watched one game at the bar where it was weight for weight for almost the entire game. Lasted forever. No sir that was not for me. I knew my place on the food chain. 😱 Ratsy

a top speed of 22 MPH.
22 mph = 9.8 m/s, which is slightly faster than Gout Gout, the 18-year-old Australian sprinter who is faster than Bolt at the same age.

But this is something that puzzles me. I have gout in one foot, but I can't run like Gout Gout. Maybe I should shoot myself in the other foot.
