I get why everyone is upset we have our own fans selling to opposing fans behind the plate.

I don’t really get the outrage I’ve seen on boards about the LFL lounge feeding opposing players, even when we are losing. I mean it’s something they always done and I do think it’s okay to be gracious and be a memorable/fun place for the other team to play.

People think it makes us “soft”, and we need a more hostile crowd. But look you’re not going to turn a college baseball stadium, or any baseball stadium for that matter, into Death Valley or something. Name me one MLB stadium that just has this ferocious crowd/hostile environment reputation. Or any college stadium that has a better environment than ours.

maybe we should talk about the uniforms of the opposing teams to see if we can influence their athletic departments to change to our liking

*missed the other thread, but selling seats behind home plate to opposing fan base = sacrilegious
**feeding the opposing team - nothing wrong with that. It's baseball.....grow up people

We’re Southerners and Mississippians where hospitality is our middle name. Don’t be a Yankee *******.

yea, I couldn't care less that we feed opposing players. What concerns me more is the uptick in recent infighting amongst our fanbase

I'd rather be known for being absolutely inhospitable to opposing teams in that they fear playing at Dudy Noble. I'd rather be notorious for that. i.e. Saturday Night in Death Valley type stuff.

At no time should our fans be friendly or hospitable or to an opposing player. We can’t expect that from anywhere so why should we should that we are the nice guys? Absolutely ******* not - opposing players should dread playing in our house, not thinking yeah I’ll get some ribs tonight!!!

Terrell and the center fielder were trying to flop Reese’s home run on Saturday for fan interference. Folks still fed him.
