I’ve heard from someone that would know that he’s nice enough but has an arrogance to him that is off putting. He expects the red carpet but hasn’t earned it. Not very appreciative of things like they thought he would be.
I think Mark has an odd personality and his ego went a bit off the rails when he was given the job.
Then you got the fans that read a headline “I love you BBN” and think it’s all real. I have no doubts he’s an okay guy, no doubt he’s a nice man but he’s not what many around here think. But you can’t explain it to them so I quit trying.
He's a MoBro. Anyone who has known Mormons, has known guys like that. Very nice and polite but
very guarded. They don't let anyone inside their inner circle. And it can make them seem standoffish. I think that's what's happening with the boosters.
Not to mention the trait of constant sugarcoating.
Everything will be given the most positive interpretation possible, to the point that you can't trust them.
He's not the worst dude ever but he is, like all coaches, a used car salesman at heart. Just a
much different kind of salesman than the last guy in charge here.
