Was actually doing some research about those two NCAA tournament teams back in the late 90s(I was young when they played so don't remember them as clearly as some of the early 2000s teams) and stumbled upon this obituary
I know he eventually got dismissed from the team his senior year. Hope he at least was able to turn things around for himself after that.
