I can't see him going there or his rumored first choice Florida as they are loaded.
Given the difference in NIL spent this off-season between the two programs, we have a serious problem if UL is able to get him over UK.

If Momcilovic picks Louisville, I’m convinced it’s because he wants to cosplay as the hero in their little poverty‑program comeback story. Congrats, enjoy shooting 48% just to lose by 12 because Shelstad forgot which team he’s passing to. Go ahead…pick the school that’s been rebuilding longer than some of their fans have been alive. If he chooses UL over UK, I’m calling it what it is: a man who clearly hates happiness, winning, and good basketball.
Louisville has way more studs than we do next year, so good players want to play with other good players. We probably won't even sniff the top 25 next year cause of Pope. Louisville is already ranked in the top 10.

Actually Louisville isn’t expecting to add anymore from the portal. We just had another 2027 recruit reclassify to the 2026 class today and had a Chinese PF on campus yesterday also from the 2026 class.
With money being relatively equal, outstanding players want to practice with the highest level teammates, and have a chance at national exposure and winning championships.
An open slot at a historic program that has low chances of high-level success is not all that attractive.

If he picks UL I'm prepared to say he's overrated and we didn't want him anyway. He doesn't want to have to compete with Trent Noah
If Momcilovic picks UL, that’s fine. Truly. Let him go to a program that’s been rebuilding since flip phones were cool. Let him enjoy dropping 30 in front of 6,000 people and a mascot who looks like a chicken with anger issues. If he wants to spend his final year getting coached by a midget, be my guest. Meanwhile, we’ll be over here at UK stacking wins, selling out Rupp, and preparing for #9!
