He got 11 outs on 39 pitches and struck out 5Glauber has next-level stuff. He made Pitt's batters look stupid.
They were pretty much stress free pitches. I seem to remember Forbes saying around 40 finished his weekend. I’d be surprised if he couldn’t throw about 25-30 Sunday. So can Globe pitch again on Sunday if we need him, or is 40 too much?
He’s grown on me like an out of control fungus. I just don’t like hearing his voice, and I think that is making me hate what he actually says more too. It’s too late to go back. I’m now just listening without volume. It was a nice few weeks recently without…Give it time. He grows on you.
The look on the batter's faces as they walked back to the dugout after he had just put them through the spin cycle said it all. They knew they were no match for that kid.He got 11 outs on 39 pitches and struck out 5
Ok, Caden, get it done right here!
C’mon Tommy. When I was coaching, I never missed a call from the dugout. From right behind and above...he wasn't getting squeezed......just missing pitches off the plate.
Got testy in sec 107 late in the game, when security escorted a fan out. He had been VERY vocal much of the game challenging the ump calls. I wonder if someone complained, because although I didn't hear it, someone said there was a lot of profanity.Getting testy here in Bosh....
I’m all for a good yelling at an ump and have done my share but those that sit on the sides doing it always makes me laugh.C’mon Tommy. When I was coaching, I never missed a call from the dugout.![]()
My favorite part was the Pitt coach complaining about the music.I’m all for a good yelling at an ump and have done my share but those that sit on the sides doing it always makes me laugh.
There were a couple later in game on the outside corner that were borderline tho.
Honestly on TV it wasn’t that bad imo. He had a very tight zone and seemed to be consistent with it for the most part. Any ump is gonna miss a couple but it was just more tight than usual (but looked correct).I’m all for a good yelling at an ump and have done my share but those that sit on the sides doing it always makes me laugh.

Also have to think about the series with NC State being Thurs-SatI don’t think it was necessarily a pitch count thing as much as a “about to face a good lineup the third time through” thing.
Obviously if they knew McDuffie would walk 3 batters in a row they wouldn’t have made the changel.
Too many years of coaching ball have worked on my voice so I am more selective now.I’m all for a good yelling at an ump and have done my share but those that sit on the sides doing it always makes me laugh.
