Yeah, that's a bold statement. I might say 50/50 and that's not very optimistic. Probably better odds than that, honestly.
If he is really talented and a good kid I hope he goes to OSU. Our program is becoming a failed state. If he ever steps a foot on campus I assume he is afraid of competition and wants the playing time and paycheck and we will face of the consequences of that. Some kids want to be the best and play for the best, but some kids want the most money and don't really care about winning.

So just shut it down? Isn’t a program supposed to recruit the best players it possibly can?

List a four or five star recruit who is better off choosing Nebraska in the the last DECADE? We had a legitimate 5 star qb, and a decent defense handed to Rhule and he could barely scratch out a bowl game because he can't build a team. I have empathy for anybody mind-screwed by Rhule, Including you.

LOL, none of you can give me a SINGLE reason why we would come here over OSU, Indiana, Georgia, etc. The ‘27 class will fall apart as the season falls apart, it’s crazy that some of you can’t see that lol

0% chance he ever plays a down here. Before anyone mentions that he moved here, Raiola moved to GA then committed to us so 🤷🏻‍♂️

haha not a chance he plays a down at Ohio State …until he maybe transfers there lol. He’s signing with Nebraska.

for the good of the program stop with the negative slants towards every possible thing. Trae is one of 8 QB’s they visited…they already have a QB committed as well but want 2.

Immediate playing time. There's your single reason. Same reason DR chose us over a similar list of schools.

With regard to the class falling apart, it's not that great now (somewhere around #26), so not sure about that bold sports prediction either. Although, I've said that it's not going to be some great, amazing, program saving, group of kids who are all going to join together to save Nebraska like some seemed to think.

That said, if it does keep going down from here (like the 2026 class), it could (and should) be lights out for Rhule. Regardless of his buyout.

Why not just answer the question? Or does it make you feel good that nationally recognized recruits keep coming to Nebraska, not being developed, and in some cases actively being retarded in growth, and then being forced to leave for a better school like "Kentucky". I feel even worse for the kids that stick it out for four or five years, get one bowl game, and get drafted in the 6th round. When, if they went some place even average they might have made more money and been better coached. Even a kid like HH, was yanked around and got to be coached by Satt for multiple positions, a coach who should never be allowed to coach again, let alone OC, QB, TE. HH would have been much better off at a place like South Dakota, North Dakota, or Montana. And that should never happen when Nebraska coaches are making multiple times what a surgeon makes.

You are still in the bad clover. It really is affecting your brain.

Which is your favorite, purple, white or yellow?
Why do you continue to graze in the bad stuff? Whether or not it tastes funny, it sure sounds stoopid once you talk after eating it.

They are gonna put you down if you do not stay out of the bad clover.

No one coach is the same. I don’t fault Wandale he ended up better off; Frost was a mess and his program was a mess. Losing Raiola, time will tell. What’s your assessment of Dylan. He had all the coaching, his pocket presence sucks, he has no internal clock that a high level qb should have.
It‘s clear that a bunch of posters have it out for the current HC. Building a program you have to have qbs that are dynamic that have to be accounted for. Not wanting someone like that to come to NU is asinine and nobody takes that part of your message seriously.

I don’t have it out for Rhule. I would prefer we take a jump this year and next, and Rhule is comfortable without a hot seat. I just don’t think it will happen based upon the foundation I’ve seen him lay down after 3 years on the job.

Nah, DP has him lapped and then some.

Big Blo Hard is a tool without a doubt, and not a particularly useful one at that, but no where near biggest POS on the board.
Nah I have read a few of the other posters crap. It is mainly incoherent ramblings that make zero sense. Almost comical to a point. Big Blo telling someone to swallow a gun no matter who they are make him by far the biggest pos.

Dylan had qb trainers, not real football coaches. He moved too often in high school, probably to even learn how to lead a team, let alone how to develop in a system with protections, or timings. Imagine a guy with a decent frame, good arm who was told by a trainer to have multiple arm angles and to mimic the best qb in the nfl. Then imagine him having played too little football and not having the footwork to navigate a congested pocket or even understand timings against man and 2 deep coverage. He was historically bad against tampa 2, could really only complete bubble screens or mid-yardage passes against zone. This is good enough in some systems to complete 60%, but without any mobility he was a sitting duck when teams played man, could bully our receivers, and bring any pressure. That being said, the qb position in college football is so bad that he would start at dozens of schools and is better than what we got in replacement. Nobody expects us to win more than 5, Dylan might have won us 6. So it doesn't really matter.

I am a free thinking human being with intelligence and empathy. I work with human beings on regular basis. College football recruits are talented human beings with huge potential in their field. I root for Nebraska to be a place of excellence and competence and when a talented recruit comes to Nebraska and they are not trained, coached, educated, promoted or prepared it hurts the recruit, their family, but also the football program and the university.

Can you imagine what it would look like if the #1 qb in the nation went to Iowa, barely won 6 games, had his body broken because his uncle coached the offensive line, and then said qb gave up millions to transfer to be a backup at a top 10 school? The moral reality is gross but the optics are damaging because he was a high profile recruit who is perceived to sacrifice winning to help his dad's alma mater. The reality is top recruits only come to Nebraska to be overpaid, they have been duped and lied to, promised a starting position, or haven't done any research whatsoever and just go off of vibes. None of the above are good, nor will it lead to winning.
