This is my formal fan request to get these guys some more innings!

We’ve seen what we’ve got with:

- DeCaro, Lynch, Glauber, Rose, and McDuffie (in a good way)

- Boaz, Flannery, Seagraves, Padgett, and Mathjis (in a bad way)

We gotta find some other effective arms and all of the guys I mentioned in title have great underlying metrics

- Cackovic (6 IP, 1.35 ERA, .75 WHIP)
- Chim (16.1 IP, 1.16 WHIP, 8.3K/9)
- Percival (6.0 IP, 1.17 WHIP)
- Leatherman (1 IP, 0R, 1H)

For reference Glauber and McDuffie have team leading 1.14 and 1.15 WHIP

Chewie definitely—he’s been perfectly fine when given opportunities. I’m a bit confused why his usage has dropped off. I think Percival is injured and Cackovic is too raw to get real innings.

No argument from me EXCEPT this should have been done before now. We are going to need a situational lefty at some point. If we can figure out a way to throw Decaro, Lynch, Glauber, and Mcduffie every game then I like our shot to win the whole dang thing.

This group mentioned, Boaz, Flannery, Seagraves, Padgett, and Matthijs, HAS to be solid for us to keep advancing come tournament time. Even though the OP mentioned their struggles this year, each of them is capable of delivering what we need.

WHIP as a standalone stat is useless. Chewy has a 6.06 ERA. I'm fine with him being a situational LHP facing a left handed batter. Percival has been injury-prone, and his only appearance against a P4 opponent did not go well... 3 ER in 1 IP, including a 2B, HR and 3 WP.

Cackovic has looked serviceable in his 6 appearances, but Leatherman has just 1 appearance against Le Moyne. I'm trusting the judgement of the coaches who see him every day in practice.

Forbes has said numerous times that guys who aren't hitting and pitching regularly in games get live reps in practice. If one of those guys was regularly mowing down Hargett, Kellis, Sowers, Black, etc, in practice, I'm sure we would've seen a little more of them this year.
