That's really interesting.
If I recall, the Vikings did something similar with Brock Lesnar, as wrestlers tend to want to live in the battle of engagement.
Hope it works out for him, one of my favorite Huskers over the last 10 years.

This might actually be a good move for him. I know these kinds of moves don’t always work out, but Tampa is in need of OL depth… if he can pick it up pretty quick he can chisel out a spot in the final roster for himself. I’ll be curious on how this works out… I know Tampa try’s to work with Nebraska kids, their GM (Jason Licht) is a UNL grad and seems to have a soft spot for UNL kids…

Neither were elite pro prospects. Hopefully they can stick around long enough to get vested.
