4-star SF Donovan Davis down to 5 schools, sets commitment date
Four-star Donovan Davis is down to Iowa, Nebraska, Iowa State, Marquette, and Wisconsin, with a commitment date set for later this month.
Sad but true.Translation……
“Please submit you final financial offer to my agent”
Two crystal balls to ISU FWIW - one from WI insider and the other ISU insider.
The choice is obvious. Come play for Iowa instead of those other bums.

Big mistake, why go to ISU, what is the attraction for these players going there?Iowa state
Once TJ identifies his targets, he rarely misses on getting the commitment. And his record for 5 years at Iowa State is very strong.Big mistake, why go to ISU, what is the attraction for these players going there?
Ames is more attractive to black athletes who are good at basketball.............for reasons.Big mistake, why go to ISU, what is the attraction for these players going there?
Fify for accuracy.Once TJ identifie$ hi$ target$, he rarely mi$$e$ on getting the commitment. And hi$ record for 5 year$ at Iowa $tate is very $trong.
They have the best water!Big mistake, why go to ISU, what is the attraction for these players going there?
You seem to be confused about what era these athletes are playing in. I would be most concerned when an athlete takes money and then decides he doesn’t want to play for the school. Appearance fees can leave a bad taste.Fify for accuracy.

If by “these tides will turn” you mean more NIL money will go to basketball, then perhaps you’re right.Give Ben a couple more years, a shaved head, and some more starch - these tides will turn.
Well then Iowa State should get on making sure that happens often to their programs, then shouldn't they. You seem to be confused about what era these athletes are playing in. Like Milan?Give Ben a couple more years, a shaved head, and some more starch - these tides will turn.
I mean with all the young players Iowa currently has in his size and skill set this doesn't shock me at all ...let alone ISU is and has been the better bball program for awhile....Iowa state
They had a 2 year head start on Ben with this kid and he had the Hawks right in it. He also plays a spot where Iowa has some pretty good young players already. The real loser here is Wisconsin losing another instate kid, which is an absolute shame![]()
Moo.Big mistake, why go to ISU, what is the attraction for these players going there?
Still equates to last place. BM can only dream of the recruiting chops that TJO displays….but you already knew that. They had a 2 year head start on Ben with this kid and he had the Hawks right in it. Congrats and in 1 year Ben has already exceeded the Tournament success TJO has... TJO is a damn good coach but you clones know Ben is the real deal and are nervous as hell that we will overtake you as the premier program in the state, sooner rather than later.Still equates to last place. Drake gets that participation trophy, and the hawks beat 1 sweet 16 team all year. The chances that the hawks even remotely come close to the program in Ames, are zero. The programs are on completely different levels…..but you already knew that.Congrats and in 1 year Ben has already exceeded the Tournament success TJO has... I guess we will see. That reaction you just gave seems very insecure lol.Drake gets that participation trophy, and the hawks beat 1 sweet 16 team all year. Well Iowa went farther than any clone team has gone in last 25 years and only done one once in their programs last 50 years when Eustachy Light was coaching. March is where it matters. Least what clone fans always said when taking jabs at Fran but now that he’s gone I guess that narrative has changed already…Drake gets that participation trophy, and the hawks beat 1 sweet 16 team all year. The last time was 1987. So is the expectation that that once every 39 years, is the standard. ISU is in the conversation every year and the hawks are not even invited to the party. In Ames, a Sweet 16 is a disappointment while making the tournament brings the excitement in Iowa City.Well Iowa went farther than any clone team has gone in last 25 years and only done one once in their programs last 50 years when Eustachy Light was coaching. as for different levels Indiana and Vandy football have shown how that can change very quickly in the new era of sports. Maybe you need to pump the brakes a little before you start talking about isu and acting as if they are a blue blood. Or make a final 4 let alone an elite 8 before staking that claim.
You sure have been disappointed a lot lately...The last time was 1987. So is the expectation that that once every 39 years, is the standard. When you are in the top 10 all year the tendency is to be disappointed with a Sweet 16. You certainly wouldn’t understand. You sure have been disappointed a lot lately...
