Let Berg 7’3” at Wichita know we are coming.
Bet we get a few of those calls you got automatically last year even though you didn't deserve it.
So basketball rosters are capped at 15 players and only 13 are allowed to be on the bench. We had 14 players last year and one of them was out pretty much the entire season so we only had 13 players to play anyway. We have 10 players for the next season so far which means we can add another 3 to 5 more players. New players have an asterisk next to them and the numbers next to them is what is in their TU introductory photos.

He should have still went to classes so with a redshirt year he should be a redshirt sophomore this year but didn’t put the designation until they put it on the website. Anyway he is still young so it is what it is
UAB with a big recruit over Memphis. UAB, Wichita, Memphis and Charlotte, along with Tulsa, getting some good transfers.
I only have one thing to say about this, let’s go kick his butt!
Would be nice if those remaining players were older experienced guys. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that last years successful team was full of guys with multiple years of college experience

Let me rephrase. I would like to see us bring in a few juniors and seniors who are proven shooters/scorers.
I see that. I had an issue with bringing in a guy from a team that was last in our conference. With the other transfers maybe we are focusing more on the inside game and defense and not so much outside shooting
I won’t prejudge a guy by how his previous team played. I’ve seen a lot of really good players on really bad teams. You’ve got to surround that player with complementary players to have a good team.
Looking at Loca’s list we look really guard heavy but another point guard/ball handler would be nice in case of injury or slow development from Forsythe. I think Sifferlin could handle some of that as he looked like a really solid passer in the minutes he played. He really didn’t play enough to see how his defense is developing. another Greene type who can play inside, shoot outside and defend would be wonderful but they’re scarce as hens teeth.
In today’s game you have to be able to shoot the three in the high 30’s, defend the three, rebound, rim protect, and make most of your free throws.
That's why most of our players said multiple times they had never played on a team with this much talent. You can take the best player off of 12 really bad teams and be pretty good.
No, I don’t think so. Significant improvement at his position with the much taller players. Rim protectors. I think he will find a spot eventually where he can play 20-25 minutes.
Perhaps we would not pay him but at scholarship to come back? He did improve and has athleticism.
I’m sure he and Konkol had a long discussion about what would be best for his future. I’m going to go with the coaches decision.
I'm doubting that Conroy gets much more than a scholarship. I bet Benton gets something like 2-7.5k which is next to nothing in relative terms.
Yes trying to find a replacement for Barnstable and Popoola. I think a PG is still in the works as Lawal can play the two if no Barnstable replacement found. I suspect bigs are finished if they all are signed. I’m anxious to see Forsythe this summer. Hope he is a Lawal type surprise for a Freshman.
