No age restrictions

Having age restrictions should be done away with along with going to class. College hoops are all about playing BB and being a training venue for the next level and making money. Let's stop trying to make it about anything else. Those days are long gone.

This is a silly outlook...if a 55 year old wanted to play d III football he shouldn't be allowed?

there never was an age limit for ncaa sports.
I don't recall if there was, or was not, but Gaze was either 23 or 24 when he played for us in 88-89, and Doron Sheffer was I think 24 when he played his last season for Uconn.

I believe Ro Gill was 25 his last year.

Gaze played that entire season at 23, which seems perfectly reasonable. Many/most seniors are 22 for a good part of their last year, and 23 if they redshirted. The international guys tend to be a little older anyway.

I don't tend to dwell much on the age thing anyway, as long as they're eligible. Most of the time, it takes care of itself.
