Supposedly the Peppermint rhino or maybe it's spearmint rhino (some mint combined with a horned animal for sure) is the place to go? That may be dated info; not sure I've had anybody tell me about going there since before covid. But supposedly it put platinum plus to shame, at least with respect to talent. Not sure about the availability of extracurriculars or the willingness to blatantly violate the law on stage.
Talent is better to look at at the Spearmint Rhino, but the PP is way more fun.*

*So they tell me.

I plan on taking a trip out to Las Vegas in the near future, but only plan on staying there a night or two. The other nights I'll either be at the Grand Canyon or hitting a few of the "mighty 5" in Utah. It's time to visit some other NP's since I've already experienced the glory of the Natchez Trace. ***

We went to the Mob Museum, which is great. It gets you by the old strip, so you can knock out a look at that while you're there if you're not going for something else. My wife wanted to go to Madame Tussauds. I wasn't that psyched, but we had a good time there. Lots of photo ops in there to have fun with.

I was just in Vegas last week and go all the time for work.

If you're going for the sights on the strip, the Bellagio fountains are cool to watch for about fifteen minutes. All the really upscale resorts are on the north side of the strip (Bellagio, Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, Encore, Fontainbleu). If the missus wants an upscale shopping experience, the Forum Shops at Caesars is the place to go. Pretty much every place is going to have decent to good dining. My personal favorites are Best Friend at Park MGM (Kissinger mentioned this above, it's a very cool place), and SW Steakhouse in the Wynn. If you enjoy people watching, there's no better place on planet earth to do that than down on Fremont Street. If you're trying to gamble, get off the strip and go to the Orleans or Rio for some cheaper craps and blackjack tables. Best show in my opinion is Penn & Teller at the Rio. If glfr jumps in here and recommends that you go see Puppetry of the Penis, don't listen to him.

What are some must dos, eats, and shows? I live on the coast so I can gamble anytime. And I will some while Im there. But looking for other options. Thanks
We went to the O show at bellagio, very good and I wasn’t really expecting anything, also anything the sphere. And a homeless lady tried to hit me in front of Caesar’s but I was too quick so that was a highlight as well.

Go to the Sphere and see something. If you will wait until a hour or two before showtime the prices drop tremendously. Food and alcohol are stupid expensive. There is a Walgreens near Paris, towards The Wynn, where you can at least get a sixpack for $12 rather than a single beer for $12. If you are a beer drinker pack a cheap collapsing cooler that’ll maybe hold a 12 pack. They’ve gotten smart and gone to wicker waste baskets or some such. One of the Cirque shows is worth the time and money. There is also a monorail that runs behind Paris most all the way down the Strip.if you want to eat anywhere nice or specific, make reservations now. A week out is probably already too late.
You just walking around Vegas with a 12 pack a cooler?

I’ve only been to Vegas once and that was in like 2011 or 2012. Not really my thing back then. I did enjoy a few of the shows we went to. My trip was way before they had any pro sports there or the sphere. I’d like to go back and plan that trip around a raiders game.

Id definitely recommend Hoover dam. From what I remember it was only like 45 minutes outside of Vegas. I could be way off on that but it’s worth the trip.
