Spoil alert- Iowa comes in at 21
And if Penn St can beat those three teams, which is not out of the question, since USC has a coach that losses big games, Mich has the new coach and system, and Wash was up and down last year so I expect the sameI think Penn St will get some fool's gold this season with a relatively easy schedule. USC, Michigan, Washington are their toughest games. After that it's Wisconsin, Minnesota, NW, Purdue Rutgers Maryland. They'll win 8-9 just by showing up.
Next year when Rocco is gone they'll take a step back.
File that prediction under "they're due"Not sold at all on Oregon being #1.
Agree - I am just curious how ISU will be this year… shall be interesting- I hope Iowa drops 60 points on them and they boo the team out of Kinnick back to stinky point (Lames, IA)I think Penn St will get some fool's gold this season with a relatively easy schedule. They may have the best wide receivers and Quarterback room in the country along with Ohio state this season. Not sold at all on Oregon being #1.
They aren’t physical enough. They may have the best wide receivers and Quarterback room in the country along with Ohio state this season.
Anything less than a complete beat down will be unacceptable. None of this "get up by 10 and go armadillo" crap. Destroy them.Agree - I am just curious how ISU will be this year… shall be interesting- I hope Iowa drops 60 points on them and they boo the team out of Kinnick back to stinky point (Lames, IA)
Notre Dame will have a very good qbThey may have the best wide receivers and Quarterback room in the country along with Ohio state this season.
Kirk will be showing the clown coach's "F the Hawks" comment the week of the game.Anything less than a complete beat down will be unacceptable. None of this "get up by 10 and go armadillo" crap. Destroy them.
They seemed plenty physical in every game minus Indiana. They aren’t physical enough.
Not sure what that says about us because I watched Oregon push us around all day with their Oline and Dline last year in Kinnick. They aren’t physical enough.
Did they graduate quite a bit from those position groups? Not sure what that says about us because I watched Oregon push us around all day with their Oline and Dline last year in Kinnick.
What????????????????????????? Are you kidding me? We lost because of a ****** punt snap and we fumbled inside their 10 yard line. Push us around my ***. And their payroll was probably 3 times as much as Iowa's. Indiana knocked the living snot out of them twice. Not sure what that says about us because I watched Oregon push us around all day with their Oline and Dline last year in Kinnick.
It's amusing how people continue to define a team by a simplistic stereotype that's either outdated or completely wrong. It was comical last fall how many were saying a cold rainy game would benefit Iowa as if 1. Oregon never plays in cold rainy weather and 2. They were some kind of delicate group of sprinters who couldn't block and tackle despite being in the Top 15 in defense and rushing at the time. They seemed plenty physical in every game minus Indiana.
Well they outrushed us 261-100 so yeah I’d say we got pushed around in the trenchesWhat????????????????????????? Are you kidding me?
