Was that REALLY a strike?? Really?? That was closer to being over the batter’s box than the plate!
you can't take one in that area with 2 strikes. you'd take it all day with less than 2 strikesand the fix is in......17 you ump
GARBAGE CALLgood grief... strike 3 on Ace was at his shins.
Except that call strike three wasn't even closeEvery close call goes to Texas. Squeezing our pitchers.
It was. But… what is the rule of thumb on 0-2 count with anything close? He had just fouled off a pitch 6 inches off the outside of the plate the pitch before that. So was Ace protecting the plate on the outside pitch but NOT protecting the plate in the inside close pitch? I want our guys to make contact with the bases loaded. Not go up there guessing for the pitch they can hit out and taking one leaving it up to a crappy umpire.good grief... strike 3 on Ace was at his shins.

I know. I know. It is always the Refs fault in basketball and football and the umpires fault in baseball.
And several inches insideCan't blame Ace for taking that one. Closer to his ankles than his knees.

It was close. Rewind it. Not a strike, but hittable, at least foul off worthy. It wasn’t close.

I know you are here to just troll but it was below the knees and inside. Of course you know thisIt was close. Rewind it. Not a strike, but hittable, at least foul off worthy.

Yep - damn i could hit 15 hr if only grooved pitches were called strikesIt was close. Rewind it. Not a strike, but hittable, at least foul off worthy.
And thats key because we dont have the consistent pitching on a Sunday to keep it low scoring. Gonna need to outscore teams more often it looks likeNot going to win many Sunday match ups with only 4 hits
Guaranteed not to happen when the HP ump is in the back pocket of the other team . . . . .Not going to win many Sunday match ups with only 4 hits
I hate this biitch excuse - he wasn’t great for any pitcher. Do you think any of the 16 balls our 17n starter threw should have called a strikeGuaranteed not to happen when the HP ump is in the back pocket of the other team . . . . .
We just need to be a little bit better. McPHerson coming back healthy and sharp would be an obvious thing that could happen. But we have some pitchers with potential that could figure it out this late. Also going to need to get a little hot at the plate regardless.Bryce gave us some fool's gold early. Bad ump or not, Texas was clearly the better team today.
No shame. We got the one we had to have.
This team really needs a healthy McPherson to make a legit run at Omaha.
