Baseball is a funny game. The same pitcher faces the same lineup in consecutive weeks. One time he records 23 outs without allowing a run. The next week he allows at least 4 runs and never records a second out.
Comes in and hits Carter French in the leg to bring home another run... Tar Heels have batter around this innning... 5-0, bases still loaded with one out.
Schaffner plates another via a sac fly to left... 6-0 Tar Heels with two gone... runners on first and second
This inning feels a lot like our nightmare seventh inning against Coastal. Just in the other direction this time thankfully.

I love when a dookie pitcher thinks routine fly ball and points up to indicate itā¦ then the ball goes out easily in the deepest part of the park. Quickly.
