Are any of the Non-conference matches shown on BTN+ or do you need Flo to watch them?

can you sign up with this coupon on the B1G+ app or do you have to do it on the website. I just tried on the app but it has to go through Apple and it doesn’t look like it is available

I tried the app first and no go, thought I remember it being that way in the past too. The website worked immediately

I tried both could not get it done. I signed up with a different email address and got the SAVE27. Great price even if you use it just for wrestling.

And to all, place a calendar reminder to yourself next year to cancel before May 4th 2027 or you will auto renew at the standard $89/year rate.

Why not make a new account with a new email. Deal is too good pass up by worrying over a month overlap.

yeah i guess you're right. i'm not really a multiple email address person so that didn't occur to me

To follow up. If I went Incognito mode I was able to input the code, however even though I cancelled my monthly promo I was on, it stays valid until May 28 and when it went to process credit card it said I already had a subscription.
Probably a different email would work .

I didn't need to do that. I went to my B1G+ profile and the clicked on Purchases. It showed my current subscription was going to renew in September 2026 at the full price. Underneath that was a Coupon button. I put in the code and clicked it and it changed my renewal price in September 2026 to $20.27.

If you're using Chrome on a mobile device with the B1G+ App installed, the default installation of the App will allow the App to open links associated with it. (This is no different for the Flow App, btw.)

App subscriptions use the Google Play (or Apple) store. Unfortunately, these payment methods don't appear to have been designed to allow for use of the coupon code.

That is why one has to use the Big Ten Plus website with the Default App disabled from opening links. Else, when clicking on the Big Ten Plus website, the B1G+ App will open and there will be no place to enter the coupon code for the discounted price.

I also recommend temporarily using the Desktop View in the browser, so that none of the web page details are inadvertently hidden.

did you have an annual subscription already? the black friday deal was a monthly subscription, and i think that was the issue.

Turning off the link option did work and that is all I had to do.

Click and hold on the app then hit the info symbol and hit "set as default" then turn off "open supported links".

I didn't have to change anything else. This is on an android phone.

Thank you 98.

I’ve had the same issue before as well.
This is the same thing that happened during Covid. It took me two years to cancel due to lack of staff. Same thing now, the website won't even get me in to cancel. B1G+ has always been terrible at it. I did end up getting my money back from them, but it took a letter from an attorney. B1G+ is by far the worst I've ever had to deal with.

Now, to cancel my subscription, they are demanding I use the same platform to cancel. Like what is that? I'm cancelling on the same phone I purchased it on. It's like they're running a scam.

Someone on the old board introduced me to Privacy.com several years ago, which allows you to create virtual credit cards tied to a bank account that you can customize to eliminate the possibility of ever being overcharged or forgetting to cancel a subscription. I use the Privacy app to instantly create, pause, cancel/close, or set/change spend limits for online transactions.

I know some people are nervous about using services like this, but I have used it for years now without a single hiccup, and I no longer worry about forgetting to cancel a service/subscription. Besides online subs I pay for, I also use it anytime I'm ordering something from a less familiar website. Great peace of mind knowing my "real" credit card isn't floating around out there to be misused or me having to fight for reimbursement for unintended charges.

CITI double cash card offers virtual numbers. I use it all the time to pay for subscriptions and as soon as the card is hit for the new sub I deactivate it so it can't be used again. Virtual numbers are the way to go.

If you get to keep your CITI double cash on your spends without any other fees, that seems to trump privacy.com! Great intel!!

Yes there was a change and to be honest I did not like the new format at all. Like all new things I learned to adapt. With the old format you could select the dollar amount and the expiration date that you desired. Now you have to select a dollar amount based on there offerings of 25, 50, 75 and upward to the amount you need and the virtual card is good for 2 years. I didn’t care for the change especially the 2 years expiration date but what I do is use every virtual card one time then I deactivate it. I deactivate the virtual card after the charge is pending. When I purchase the big10 plus for the price above I did a virtual card for 25 dollars and of course it had a 2 year expiration date but as soon as they had a pending charged it was deactivated and the card can no longer be used to charge me next year at full price.

Also I saw on X where some people commented about the 3 digit code changing when using the card. I am not positive about how that works but I do use virtual cards for my monthly donations to foundations and have never had an issue with having to change the cvv
