"UFL co-owner Mike Repole dropped a list of potential expansion cities during his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, giving fans a peek at where spring football could land next. The list came up after Pat brought up the league's recent Oklahoma City announcement.

Repole's pitch: 'Austin, Salt Lake, Omaha, Albuquerque, who knows maybe New York City.'

The cities have not been confirmed as expansion targets. Repole was talking through markets he has eyes on as the UFL works toward a 10-team league by 2028 and 16 teams by 2035."

From what I have been told by a UFL higher up is Omaha is in serious consideration . They’re looking for a soccer type stadium.

I will say what I believe everyone really thinks...

I have no interest in paying for content that lacks any real substance or personal significance. The UFL is exactly that, a gimmick league with no staying power, propped up as a placeholder for real football. The quality of play doesn't come close to the NFL, and anyone who has watched the real thing knows the difference. The people of Omaha have no reason to invest their time or money into a league that will likely fold before it ever matters. If it's not the NFL, it's not worth my attention plain and simple.

I think these guys toss out cities and wait to see the reaction.

I am sure there would be some interest but more as "an event" as opposed to being a fan.

Kind of like Creighton games, out of the 15,000 people at those games...10,000 are there just to do something...not because they are a fan.

Yeah, but we can hear the play calls in real time ... on TV.
