More fascinating insight from the Pudster! Surprised your dumb-a$$ even knew it was game 7….or what a “starter” is. 😂
Your Saturday night consists of “following me” & when I post, replying with some D- diss that’s not relevant to the game, rather than actually watching the game. Cool life you got there spaz girl.

Just a very very odd move by Mazzulo with that starting lineup. Vucevic didn't even get in that I can remember, and to be fair he was bad since he came back from injury. And yes, the Celtics tied the game up after that early big deficit, but just not sure what he was trying to do. But honestly the Sixers had the 2 best players on the court in Maxey and Embiid, and both were playing amazing. Not sure the Celtics would have won even if Tatum would have played.

It was still a 1 to 2 point game with 5 minutes to go.

The Celtics win a lot of games with the 3 point shot. In this game they simply died by not being able to make a 3 point shot.

I always wonder if garza would have been one of the better centers 30 years ago. Players are just that much more athletic now days.

It isn’t the athleticism so much as the shooting range for bigs and the offenses designed to get 1 on 1 mismatches. You’d be hard pressed to find a center today more athletic than young Shaq from 30+ years ago or one with the moves of Hakeem 40 years ago. But does anyone think that Hakeem, Robinson, Ewing, Shaq, etc. are going to be pulling up from 3 pt range regularly?

But yeah, if Garza brought his long range shooting to the NBA of the 80s, he could be a starter and averaging 15 or more points.

Not true. All those guys you mentioned were Hall of Famers. Garza could have been a Will Purdue or someone like that but there's no way he could have been a starter. He still could not have guarded anyone.

That may be accurate but honestly, 90% of NBA players go half speed on defense anyway. Part of why watching it can be painful.
