Graves released it was between LSU (before Mo D committed), Duke, and NBA Draft, more than likely staying in draft.

Milan was rumored to Florida at the start, but don’t know how likely that is at this point. Haven’t heard anything positive from postings around this board about him wanting to come here.

I read yesterday that Milan was going back to college and was down to Florida, Michigan and you guessed it, UL. How is UL in on all of these guys? And don’t just say money because we have plenty of it.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, we're in an active trend in which the really good basketball players, the kind you would expect to see at a program like UK, don't want anything to do with UK. And that trend is likely to continue until the cause of it is terminated and a real coach is brought in to fix it. Until that happens, we're stuck with back-ups as starters and complete projects as back-ups.

Sounds like Duke, Florida, and Louisville are going "championship or bust".

I think Florida for sure sees this as their best chance (Haugh, Condon, and Reuben are seniors), would be an absolute handful for any coach to replace a frontcourt as talented as that

It's funny that the 2 guys that could turn things around for us are the 2 guys we faced off with in the tournament.
At this point though it looks completely like wishful thinking

Is RC coming back? I thought he was staying in draft?

UK has “plenty of money”?

Not being combative, but show me one example in the last 3 years where Pope used “plenty of money” to win a single star recruit away from another team!

Just one, any team, high school or portal star recruit.

You think he would consider Fla and ride the pine behind Hough . Not a chance . We’re the only school with 5 million sitting there
Agreed, that’s why I said the early rumblings were Florida (before Haugh announced) but idk how true that is anymore. Would love to believe we’re strongly in the mix.

Graves is #22 on the most recent mock.
He will probably stay in.
That's almost peak position for him.
He's not a lottery level athlete.
If Graves is a 1st round he has to stay in the draft. I don't believe his stock can get any higher than it is right now. He could make good money coming back to college, but also takes the risk of being exposed.

Graves isn't coming back. Momcilovic probably comes back. It will be a bidding war presumably. The team willing to throw the kitchen sink at him will get him since this is his last year to make money. How much is he worth? Probably not what he will end up getting.

Duke is beyond loaded and probably doesn't have room

Same for UF with Haugh back.

We have the room, and the money.

Duke was getting Graves until he has basically decided to stay in the draft. So shifted the fund allocation to the #1 16 year old in the world.
