Nike hasn’t done anything to help UK. Maybe we should switch to adidas or one of the other shoe brands if they will feature us.

Nobody is gonna feature Pope. Stein is doing just fine with Nike.

I'd take Adidas in a heartbeat. We'd at least get some new uniforms. And we'd instantly be their biggest CBB school. Nike is all over Duke and Oregon.
There are these things called contracts. And we just recently signed a 10 year one with Nike.

No. We should stop permitting our program to circle the bowl and actually make moves that lend themselves toward being an attractive place to coach and play. We can point fingers at Nike, JMI or whoever else, but this athletic department isn’t willing to make the hard decisions that would remedy every other perceived problem. Get a real coach, a real AD and all this other stuff disappears.
A shoe in keeping with the energy and sex appeal Coach Pope has injected into the program.
Yes, even if we had someone different from Pope they'd still be gagging on Dukes nuts. Give me Under Armour or give me death.
Recruiting and just in general. They never seem to feature like they do duke.
I'm not sure if going with another shoe company would help or if it is even possible in the near future but it does seem that our fortunes have taken a down turn ever since the PK80 snub by Cal.

It doesn’t matter what brand it is, they aren’t going to throw money at a coach they don’t believe in.
Nike has the best stuff and is classic. Does UCONN blame Nike? Do Michigan and Florida blame the Jordan brand?
I don't blame Nike for anything. But I do think they've been lazy when it comes to UK.

Duke isn’t getting talent, willing to play behind other talent without the major push by Nike. Nike did try and push stokes to UK but It sure doesn’t feel like we get a tenth of the help that Duke does so that royally pisses me off. If we don’t start benefiting more like Duke does (even somewhat) I’d rip that contract up and piss on it like Lou brown did to Dorns contract and get me another player.
It would depend on expiration of contract and switching is a really big deal going to Adidas from Nike or from Nike to Adidas.
I know we blame Nike we blame JMI.... One big common denominator ....... Heck couldn't get a kid that just signed a big contract with Nike away from an Adidas school... No star player wants to play for Pope.
Dook's athletic department is infested with former Nike employees. That alone is reason enough to drop them. You are never getting anything but scraps when they have a pipeline into the company.
Adidas sucks. Their uniforms are all garbage too outside of two schools

Ky gets 15% royalties on Apparel & 5% on shoes Sold bi NIKE. Extra $$$ for championship & Prime TV airings. It’s a lot of money. Nike is helping Ky now by offering shoe deals to Euros & a couple Draft dropouts To play for Ky . Nike sells a huge amount of Ky Merch so now is “payback” time
