Didn't you say top 3? Or Is this another one of your insider scoops that goes bust?McBride alone put our transfer portal ranking all the way up to 15th now for all the doom and gloomers. Diallo, Wilkins and McBride are good pieces for our system, now we need 2 more high quality pieces.
McBride was an important stretch 4 for Pope. After last year and not recruiting one, this is a key piece to something.McBride alone put our transfer portal ranking all the way up to 15th now for all the doom and gloomers. Diallo, Wilkins and McBride are good pieces for our system, now we need 2 more high quality pieces.
It must be nice. Right now we have 2 playable guards on the roster.Oregon just picked up another transfer guard in Fred Payne. I wonder what the Johnsons think about Oregon's crowded backcourt - Payne, Easter, Ariza, Riley, and Johnson.
Our backcourt would be at best a wash with them. And that’s being optimistic. We have no one near Stokes talent wise on our roster. Dawes is better than any 4 man we have. The only edge we would have is Moreno. We need a big time talent at the wing or the 4. Badly.Just wanted to post this to show how Kansas’ potential starting 5 is taking shape. I’m no expert, but this isn’t anything to salivate over.

just Close Pope, close something
I'm just so over it. You fly 16 hours and can't get the commitment. Hell, Pope will probably have to fly back to beg him.All this for a 6'8 backup center who averaged 8 points and 3 rebounds.
Gotta have a roster I guess. I’m not sold on this guy, but this is what happens when you literally strike out on everyone. All this for a 6'8 backup center who averaged 8 points and 3 rebounds.
This guy is our only realistic hope at a game changer. If Pope doesn't get seriously involved with him he should be thrown out the door. Pope was so up Stoke's *** he didn't know what was going on.REST OF X POST ABOVE:

There’s been a lot of talk about Boskania G/F Stefan Joksimovic, and questions on his eligibility issues, questions if Kentucky has even reached out at all, etc. im gonna post some of what I’ve been told by multiple sources now from stateside, and then international side, that has knowledge of his recruitment. But There is so much different information, from different sources, with agent/team tactics, on top of how quickly things change in this game, so I’m not making this post to directly refute any one person let me be absolutely clear, I’m just passing along what I’ve been told on this situation from people who would know more than I do. - Stefan is Not expected to have any eligibility issues. at the worst, he’ll just be rushing to finish up online classes through the spring/early summer like many other International prospects do in the same situation, but could push a possible commitment into the summer. - Kentucky has had contact with Stefan Joksimovic. It’s Fair to say the Tyran Stokes recruitment likely delayed Kentucky to show serious interest at that time, and it’s possible they aren’t involved at this very moment, but I have been told UK had reached out. - I can’t say what Kentucky’s interest level in Stefan is at this time of course, but sources I’ve talked to say if the starting wing is open, and the NIL offer is strong, Kentucky would be seriously considered by Stefan Joksimovic. College has been the plan for him. But again, Things could always change. Asked a source the potential he comes to college in 27’ instead? “If he stays in Europe, plays even a slightly bigger role than he did this year he’ll be NBA Bound Next Season, won’t be a 2027 Option” Some quotes from sources I’ve talked to. *On Kentucky having no contact with Stefan + eligibility issues* “I have not heard that at all, hes had contact with many schools at this point, always heard Kentucky was 1 of them.” “I’ve been told Kentucky has at the very least reached out, was told months ago they were interested and watching. he also follows 3 UK Assistant Coaches, and they follow him” “Other teams could be further along, I have heard he’s already had some zoom calls, but I wouldn’t believe Kentucky hasn’t reached out at all” “I’ve been told he’s eligible, so not sure” “If he isn’t in college next season, it won’t be due to eligibility, they’ve talked seriously with atleast 10 schools and continue to engage, you’ll probably see a few coaches out at the U18’s just for him” I don’t know for a fact Kentucky is getting re involved with Stefan, even though it genuinely makes the most sense right now, but I do think we more than likely see Stefan in college next season, these top International Prospects are getting BIG $ offers.
Your post needed repair. FIFY.All this for a 6'8 backup center who averaged 8 points and 3 rebounds in a pro league that has more talent than the NCAA.
Papa John geez
we have moreno, potter, and the guy who averaged 8 and change did it in a top tier euroleague. Ones who complain about euroleague and kids from euroleague don't know euroleague basketball. also same get excited about freshmen who probably next year won't pan out. First year in many that freshmen were top tier. Michigan won it all without much freshmen help.Another miss by Pope? Shocking....
