After this atrocious Portal and Recruiting Season following last year's disappointments and word salad press conferences, now silent offseason while whiffing left and right, does Pope get Booed on his BBM introduction?

I dunno, but scalpers are going to be stuck with a bunch of free tickets they thought would make them millionaires.

Big blue madness should be empty. The music should be echoed off the concrete walls of Rupp.

I will go to support my Wildcats. You guys can shove your booing and boycotts where the sun doesn't shine. UK basketball doesn't need you and will be fine without you.

No. And anyone who does is a crybaby POS.

That’s historically a big recruiting night for the program. Let’s not show our asses to recruits.

And booing the coach of a 0-0 team is just low class and poor form. Some of y’all were raised in outhouses or something.

Booing for bad play is one thing, doing this is rednecky and childish.

How long do you feel it will be before UK basketball is fine again ?
I've been a fan since the 60s, we have had a couple of down periods WORSE than this and we recovered and I am confident we will again. I wouldn't have hired our current coach and I would have fired our AD SEVERAL years ago. As a fan those are not my decisions to make. I can and do voice my opinions about the program but in the end NOBODY on this board has the job of running our program. The decision HAS BEEN MADE to retain Mark Pope for next season. That is out of my and your control. I now have 2 choices I can support MY team next year as I always have or I can sit on the sidelines and whine and throw tantrums about things I don't control. I find joy in UK basketball, some years more than others. Many on this board obviously do not. One thing I will never do however is boo my team under any circumstances while they are on the floor. I think its low class and denigrate the long tradition of UK basketball. I also will not " boycott" the team I love. I feel that 20s of thousands of UK fans feel this way. The small group that don't go root for someone else we REALLY don't need you.

Worst coach in SEC. Fans have every right to be negative.
That's bull crap he made the tournament both yours said he was here one time to the sweet 16 and be plenty of top 15 teams. I am not happy with the results, but they are definitely worse coaches in the SEC and elsewhere. I agree he may be the one of the most unusual possibly even strange coaches I've seen in a while, especially how he approaches recruiting. But you guys with this drama, as if this program is totally destroyed is ridiculous. We are definitely not where we need to be the quite frankly we need a new coach to get there unless Pope surprises us all this year..

Growing up in Hickman ky in the 60s I caught the Blue Bug. I lived and breathed UK. Art was the " cigar man" on a couple of those teams. When you saw Art on the floor the issue was not in doubt. That's where I got my handle
