They stated they expect all the additional teams will be chosen from the P5 conferences. Doesn't help TU at all.

I still say if you don’t have a winning record in conference you should be ineligible regardless of conference affiliation
They think going 1-9 in quad one is enough, You have shown you can win in quad one and you had no quad 4 losses (you didn't play any) System is becoming more favorable for the power conferences in every way possible.

They didn't quite state that I don’t think. Maybe implied close to that.

Doesn't matter... The game is going to like hockey, a 9 month season and playoff 🤣

I think this would have put Tulsa pretty close to an at large last year. We might have been the last team out?

GO TU!!!!

This was an effort to keep the power conferences under the NCAA platform for the next 5 ish years. A breakaway is all but inevitable imo
I am not as sure about this as maybe I once was. The breakdown of control by the NCAA, which many of those “breakaway” likely schools were advocating, turned out to create more problems than they anticipated. Now with some controls returning (restrictions on number of years that can be played, likely NIL and transfer reform, etc…), the gambling issue on the horizon and the financial ruin a large number universities are facing will require a stronger independent body (NCAA) not the foxes (Texas, Ohio St, Mich, Florida, etc…) or their puppets guarding the hen house.

I’m thinking more about those schools wanting the money the NCAA tourney generates. $1B I believe
