It’s been made unless something has changed recently, not sure why it’s not public yet unless they have to wait until the next school board meeting.

According to the district website, the Transylvania County School Board meets tomorrow night at 5. We may know more then. If they have made it this long without leaking name or names, they have done a super job.

It’s official now, Coach Mac (internal hire) is the new HC.

Tristan is now enrolled at TC Roberson and I wish him the best!

What the heck has happened in Brevard? According to comments under a recent news article, Wynn went to TCR, 3 players are going to Georgia with Coach Coleman, and the star TE is going to Christ School? I get a regime can be tough but is anyone sticking around?
How the heck do you just take 3 players to a different state with you? All 3 families just decide to move? That's crazy

Coleman went to Rabun County-the public school. Not Rabun Gap-the private school. Not sure how they made it work except the parents legitimately were able to make the move.
I knew part of Georgia bordered a small part of NC but its not close to Brevard.

No, a quick search on google maps says 1 hour and 41 minutes from Brevard to Rabun County, any players that followed Coleman to Ga would have to pack up and move. But in todays post covid world that is easier to do with more adults able to work from home and remotely.

I know a guy in SC that can help with that whole "how we get kids to move far away" lol.

Two guys went to Georgia, 1 to TC, 1 to Christ School, and 2 to Rosman.

I feel bad for Coach Mac and his uphill climb. Losing a big and great senior class and then arguably your top 6 returners transfer.
What's going on at Brevard? Was it because they took so long to make a new head coach?

My opinion only…the only one I can understand is Brayden Crain going to Christ School. He’s a legit D1 prospect with D1 offers already and Christ School from an academic and athletic standpoint run their program like a college.

The rest of the moves are a bit of a head scratcher. It is what it is.

I hate it for you guys. That Burns/Brevard game was a heck of a playoff game last year. Wishing you guys the best and hopefully a return to great football very soon!

One of the moves is a coach leaving to go join Rabun County with Coleman, and moving his son and family, correct?

I do believe Coleman offered Coach Robinson a teaching and coaching position. May be a great move for the family. My comment was more just thinking on the football side of things and schools that were chosen.

Upcoming year will be a challenge for sure. Kind of need to follow the last path and get to the younger high schoolers and middle school kids and get a reinvigorated approach. Losing those players hurts, but the next group needs to be all in.
