I’ve said all season that ‘25 is the high water mark of Pope’s coaching career. And it always will be.
It was a beautiful recruitment. Him and Tyran really got to know each other. Lots of late night chess. Unfortunately he decided his path led him down to Bill Self. Tyran wanted to know how to hide his hair better if he should ever go bald.
It can never be overstated how much it helped Pope with his complicated system to have a whole nation’s worth of fifth-year COVID seniors all trying to find homes.
