I wish he would be gone tonight. We have given him more time than he deserves. Wasn't his fault he was hired, but we also shouldn't let him stumble into another year. I actually wish he would just resign.

I wouldn't call this melting down. This was kinda the last straw for several. I was done with Pope regardless of whether or not he landed Stokes. But, he's been a colossal failure.
Not as sick as most are of Pope’s losses. Recruiting losses. Retention losses. PR losses. Game losses. WTF does Pope win? At this point any warm body would be better.

It’s not like we won’t have the money! If he likes making a ton of it to play basketball, I would say we could have as good of a chance as anyone. You’re probably right, but it’s a possibility.
