Dumb as hell. They're doing this because NIL is going to cause more and more teams to not be able to compete and get into a tournement of yesteryear. The sport is dying. The only ones who disagree with that are the ones who have the money and the recruiting to go with it.

100% all for this. Same number of games on Thurs-Sun. Only impacts Tuesday and Wednesday which now goes from 2 games each day to 6. Dayton and one other site. So much better than having a room full of people argue the merits of bubble teams. Just let them play each other. Problem solved. Just hope it is all the 11's, 12's and 16's.

I'm not gonna watch these games but some nerds on here might so no issue with this.

Its sad that these sport leagues cant just be satisfied with the billions they have, they have to continue to just squeeze the sports, regardless if it worsens the product. Its like adding two new NBA teams. All thats gonna do is just add two more tanking teams.

Turning into to a mid major tournament. With the NCAA owning the NIT, they could have just turned the NIT into a play in tournament where the champion gets the last spot in the NCAA Tournament. The NIT would be relevant again.
