Still blows my mind that Nike would sign a kid, then allow him to go to an Adidas school.

We need to be the first Kangaroo's school. They can put some of that NIL money in the little pocket. 😃
Young dudes on here are probably really confused by this statement.

If Nike lets him go to Kansas it’s time for us to think about changing. I read a few weeks ago that LSU had changed to Adidas and immediately 11 football players signed NIL contracts. I didn’t verify this but wouldn’t be surprised. It’s time to shop our name around.
I mean...if the top recruit in the nation who is from Kentucky and hates wearing Adidas choses Kansas over us, what freaking point do they serve?

With our current decision makers, we'd probably enter a long term contract with Crocs.

Cal was afraid of the competition in the Knight tournament in Portland.
It was about him missing Little House on the Prairie binge watching.
Cal was the worst about traveling; remember he decide to take a 6 hour bus ride to Atlanta to get us beat up by Ga Tech?

I think this is more about Adidas being open to him wearing Nike gear at Kansas then Nike giving in.

I'm sure CROCS or Hey Dudes would be chomping at the bit to be our next shoe sponsor. I'm only half joking.

UK is signed with Nike through 2035. They aren't revisiting anything nor should they.
How many long term contracts that don’t benefit the university do we have to endure? Why be so devoted to Nike, even if they don’t help in recruiting? Particularly when Adidas is actively doing it for our opponents?
