We are matched up in our region with Virginia (six national championships since 2013). That's our potential Elite Eight opponent. If we get to that and through that, we could be facing #1 overall seed Wake Forest, the champ in both 2025 and 2018. Texas and Ohio State are the #2 and #3 seeds on the opposite side of the draw.

This tennis team has been impressive the last 3-4 years.

Hopefully Jovanvic will be back for the NCAA Tournament. He has missed the last 5 plus matches.

Didn't we lose to Ohio State in the Round of 8 either last year or 2024? 2 of the losses this year are to Texas.

I'm no college tennis expert, but I've noticed we tend to lose the doubles point in the big matches and have to fight our way back. Is that a concern that may stop us from winning it all, or is it just something that happens? Or is my perception not really true in the first place?

We beat Ohio State last year, at Ohio State, in the 3rd round. We lost to Stanford in the Elite Eight in a very close match that could have gone either way.
