I think we are 50-50. I think he wants to play at KU, but out offer is the highest and the Nike thing is something

I am 100 percent confident.

But I was 100 percent confident Pope would land Freeman. I guess I'm a positive guy.

He didn't get Freeman. But I actually feel better about N'Diaye anyway -- more upside, less injury worry. If Kentucky doesn't get Stokes, that, too, may work out in a way that feels right. If Kentucky got Milan Momcilovic and the very best 3-point shooter left in the class for the same money, I wouldn't see that as a terrible outcome.

Pope’s never done anything like landing Stokes before and several times in the past he was in a better position to land a recruit around that level and it didn’t happen.

But I suppose anything’s possible technically.

I’m in the camp of hoping we don’t get him. I think he makes our team worse, not better. Selfish individuals do not make good teammates and after last years **** show I’d like to see some team cohesion for a change.

This is oftentimes the case, not always, but yes.

14% (those on the 2 extremes) are just not realistic, either way overly optimistic or pessimistic on anything Pope. I'm surprised after 38 votes, not a single one is in the 75% category, given that there are only 2 realistic categories.

I don't know what that dude is going to do and would not be the least bit shocked if he doesn't either.

For no definable or supportable reason I do think we get him but obviously it can go any kind of way.

He may randomly and utterly out of the blue bust out an LSU hat and Wade will be even more shocked than he is happy for all I actually know.

I’m sure you’ll talk yourself into liking the foreign wing we get better than Stokes once he misses on him, as well lol.

Yeah it's ******* ridiculous the mental gymnastics. A 22 year old guy nobody wants and scoring 10ppg has more "upside" than a 19 year old 5 star. Makes me wonder what some of these people do for a living.

I was gonna say about 25 percent we get him but I don’t see an option for that. So I went with 0

I'm not saying its impossible to land Stokes but I do feel the chances of me or one of the other board members having coitus with Sydney Sweeney is substantially better.

75% here has nothing to do with Pope but this kid is kind of a enigma
Can't get a read

Stokes isn't coming to UK. He relishes in the desperation of UK trying to do whatever it can to land him, even as far as trying to hire his former coach. He is likely excited to check in on Twitter as fans melt down.
I agree. I said 0 chance. He's playing with every school right now and that isn't cool by me. I think he's a head case.

If he comes to UK, it will be for reasons other than Pope. What player acutally is sold by the coaching prowess of Mark Pope. It’s the money and Nike.

Getting Stokes could do more damage than good. I don't think the guards are good enough for a deep run. The team would be respectable but not real good or real bad. Kind of, meh.

We've offered him everything but the kitchen sink and he still hasn't committed. With Pope nobody knows but I hope he proofs me wrong.
