Lol, I wasn't saying we were gonna hold it, but by my definition, if you're 95%+ to win, that's comfortable. I held off on saying anything specific as if we had won.
Can't say I would have expected a sweep knowing we would give up 8 or more runs in every game. Offense and LSU's suckage got it done.
Very very rare State battles like that and pull ls out a sweep over the tigers! Showed off and out; proud even though I killed roughly 64 beers over 3 games. Hail State!
Those late 80s series with LSU made me a fan of Mississippi State. I am sure you heard the cowbell out in TEXAS. Yeah, that was me.

45,382 is what SECNW reports as our attendance this weekend.
I know it’s been pointed out, but damn it’s hard to watch this team. This weekend they and LSU did just about all they could to give each game away. In the end in all 3 cases, LSU pitching and defense let them down. LSU is a weird team. Pretty good starting pitching and some really good hitters, but not many wins. That sweep was huge. We needed that.
It was a huge sweep. And it was great to watch us battle back three times to win games where we were very much struggling at the plate. Our relievers really battled and deserve a whole lot of credit for allowing us a chance to get back in all three of those games.
I can imagine how LSU baseball fans are feeling. They know their team is done. And they are going to lose some of their potential star freshmen before next year - maybe to us.
They're suffering right now. And I 17n LOVE IT!
Let's hope our Dogs never stop battling and find a way to get better over these next three weeks.
