Serious question. Let’s say we end up with an identical SEC record to Ole Miss. They have the RPI edge but we swept them. Could they get a higher seed? I get this is not football and head to head is not the end all be all. But still seems wrong

We’d probably get the highest seed. But Tuesday night plus what both of us do in Hoover may factor in too.

Nope. Cannot take a chance on Ole Miss stealing our Regional. The way our starting pitching has gotten worse, not better, I just don’t see State winning more than 1 at Texas or A&M. So catching any of those 3 isn’t likely. Work hard to stay at 4th or 5th but ahead of Ole Miss and Oklahoma.
