Charlie has had his issues early in his starts so don't look for it to be "calm" early, kind of like the last 2 days have been

My son is home for the night. We first jinxed us, then we jinxed the Braves, and then we dang near jinxed us again. At least the last jinx didn't quite take over.

I'm with you on all that. They're clawing back some of the damage done earlier, but it's a grind to get it. Really need another sweep here to set us up for the last 11 games.

It's not easy to go through as a fan, but I know winning these kind of games has to help a team with Omaha level goals. You gotta know how to grind out wins to win championships.

I was turning off the game every time LSU hit a home run or a State batter would look at Strike 3. My wife eventually got hold of the remote.

Which is strange. LSU's hitting is among the best I've seen this year. They have very good pitchers, and their defense made some awesome plays on Friday night. It might just be what their coach said- he chose transfers poorly, and the chemistry is completely wrong.

Yeah, there's a lot of difference between the kind of bad team this LSU team is and the two bad State teams Lemonis had right after the natty.

This LSU team has a ton of talent, but they just don't know how to get across the finish line in tough games. Those State teams were just not good at baseball.
