Good question. With Lem, we knew who the hitting, pitching, and even catchers coaches were. Even the bucket coach. This staff, only Parker is a known entity.
I’d rather have great attendance and a great atmosphere than less attendance.
That being said, the constant posts from MSU fans/media about how we have the best fanbase, breaking attendance records is too much. Beating your chest that 15,000 people showed up for a loss.
Focus and media exposure should be on we won the title 5 years ago, we have a great team with a coach that has won a national title, we won this series etc. The last 5 years like Penn State hyping on Twitter about how they had 100k+ show up for a loss to Northwestern.
Has there even been as good of a 3 inning stretch over the weekend?
