It's funny that he mentions Purdue and Nebraska.... when he's playing for Vanderbilt, which was lower than those teams until last year.

Will be interesting if they keep their coach.... He's from there, otherwise he'd be gone already

A "character" is generally charming or at least amusing. He appears to be basically a giant douche.
agree that he is a douche but the poor guy has no physical gifts at all and that somehow makes his behavior and success a novelty / interesting. i do understand your pov also

I guess it is what people consider to be physical gifts? He has decent mobility and arm strength. I would consider those gifts. His size would be his biggest weakness and I think the NFL is about done with undersized but mobile QB's. Look at the top 10 winning QB's or so this year and there is a pretty strong resemblance.

I have a ton of respect for Vanderbilt and Clark Lea. He doesn't deserve them. He's a great football player, but not much of a man. He should transfer to Nebraska or Florida St.

You realize these comments were made months ago, and he has no more eligibility after this his 6th or 7th year in college.

Agreed, I saw a tough sob that could throw dimes and scramble like a *****. Dude is a legit college football qb! He was second for the Heisman. I think he gets on a roster in the NFL as a backup somewhere.

He would be a lot better than Mark.
Not even close. Mark is smart enough to have a GM making the important decisions instead of being 20 years plus, behind the times. Either way, I doubt that I'll ever see the legendary silver and black be relevant for the rest of my life.

Congrats to the SEC, 11 teams playing Bowl games with a total of 4 wins. Fear the SEC? Not anymore. Used to be, only the SEC was allowed to cheat and buy players. Now that every school can do it, the SEC has lost that advantage.
Don’t forget that 2 of the 4 wins were against SEC teams. They couldn’t even beat teams outside of the conference!

The rise and fall of Diego Pavia has been just incredible to witness.

Incredible is one description. Open mouth insert foot I guess. Don't know if some team would have given him an UDFA shot, but I highly doubt that's happening now. Hope he likes the weather NORTH of the border....

Pretty overrated narrative.

Cheaters can still cheat under the table. And there's still plenty of talent in the SEC.

What I see is they've gotten too soft. Like the old big12. Too much of that spread and no-huddle crap. No commitment to physicality. Pillow fighting is bad football
